Einige der Hunderte von Arbeitern, die seit Tagen in der Atom-Hölle von Fukushima gegen den unsichtbaren Strahlenfeind kämpfen und das havarierte AKW unter Kontrolle bringen sollen, waren von Vertragsunternehmen von Tepco angeheuert worden. Im japanischsprachigen Internet findet sich eine Stellenausschreibung eines Unternehmens für Arbeiten im Kernkraftwerk in Fukushima. Ausbildungsanforderungen: „keine“.
Die Regierung trägt die Oberaufsicht
In der größten japanischen Tageszeitung „Yomiuri Shimbun“ erzählt ein Mann, der seit 30 Jahren in AKWs „im ganzen Land“ arbeitet und von einem Vertragspartner von Tepco angeheuert worden sei, wie er nach dem Erdbeben zunächst mit seiner Familie in einem Notlager unterkam. Dann jedoch habe ihn sein Arbeitgeber gerufen, er werde in dem havarierten AKW benötigt. Da habe er nicht „Nein“ sagen können. Ein anderer Mann berichtet in der Tageszeitung „Mainichi Shimbun“: „Wenn ich den Einsatz ablehne, würde ich in eine schlechte Lage geraten.“ Er brauche den Job. „Ich möchte weiter für das Unternehmen arbeiten und so weit wie möglich das tun, was man mir sagt.“
Die Männer arbeiten teilweise in völliger Dunkelheit, umgeben von Trümmern, umgestürzten Autos und herumliegenden Rohren. Sie wechseln sich im Schichtbetrieb ab, um der Strahlung nicht zu lange ausgesetzt zu sein. „Es ist eine Arbeit, die viel Zeit und Vorsicht erfordert“, wird ein Sprecher von Tepco zitiert. Die Frage ist nur, wie viel Vorsicht man walten lässt.

In summary, radioactivity in the environment, foodstuffs and water is moving more to the forefront, as some technical concerns related to the status of the reactors at the Fukushima Daiichi site appear to be slightly less acute in some respects. However, the overall situation on the Fukishima site remains very serious.

Er weisst auf die hohen Werte für die Oberflächenkontamination auch 30 bis 40 km von den raktoren hin, die auf dem Niveau von Tschernobyl sind.

Eine Verstrahlung von Arbeitern mit 10.000-fach erhöhter Radioaktivität im AKW Fukushima deutet nach Einschätzung der japanischen Behörden auf eine erhebliche Schädigung des Reaktorblocks 3 hin. Experten der Reaktorsicherheitsbehörde (NISA) vermuten entweder eine partielle Kernschmelze mit einer Beschädigung des Reaktorbehälters oder eine Überhitzung des Abklingbeckens für abgebrannte Kernbrennstäbe. Sollte dies zutreffen, müsse mit einem deutlichen Anstieg der Radioaktivität in der Umgebung des AKW gerechnet werden.
Ebenfalls in Block 1 und 2 Wasser mit hoher Radioaktivität gefunden.

How ignorant this all to so called "human system" on earth? Even medium scale catastrophes and the kill-kill playing with ultramodern weaponry on top of the heads of poor nomades and any other living beings for the interest of powerful lobbies groups under the pretence of bringing modern democracy (always resulting in the opposite beside Germany 1945) in distant appearing countries are less noteworthy for medias and really seem to get less attention for a world that is now in need for a leading figure that radiates, love, humility, compassion, truth and surrender instead of hate, arrogancy, ignorance, mass lies of mass medias and brutal dictatorship under the misleading banner of some Neo-crusader (and/or Liliput-napoleon lead) democracies.

Prime Minister Naoto Kan said at a press conference Friday evening that the situation at the plant involving leaks of radioactive materials and other serious problems ''still does not warrant optimism.''
He failed to address what the Japanese people and the international community most want to know -- whether the ongoing crisis will be brought under control soon -- only saying that the government is putting all its efforts into preventing a worsening of the situation.

According to the government's Nuclear and Industrial Safety Agency, radioactive iodine-131 at a concentration 1,250.8 times the legal limit was detected Friday morning in a seawater sample taken around 330 meters south of the plant, near the drain outlets of its troubled four reactors.
The level rose to its highest so far in the survey begun this week, after staying around levels 100 times over the legal limit. It is highly likely that radioactive water in the plant has disembogued into the sea, Tokyo Electric Power Co said.
The radiation levels in seawater do not pose an immediate risk to human health, government officials said. But they are well above normal levels and fan concerns over fishery products in northeastern Japan as highly radioactive water has been found leaking near all four troubled reactor units at the plant.
